Smart Green House

Positioning of Smart Green House System

The positioning and arrangement of the components prioritize modularity, protection and accessibility. The core components are positioned centrally on a table and are secured within multiple clear plastic enclosures. This setup serves several critical engineering and design functions. The arrangement within the enclosures suggests a clear functional separation. The positioning also highlights the system’s integration with external elements. The overall positioning is highly indicative of a structured educational, research and balancing the need for hands on access and rapid iteration with the need to protect the electronics during operation. There are main two circuit boxes including soil sensor, smart temperature control sensor, ultrasonic water sensor and smart light sensor.

Positioning of Circuit Box (1)

All Green House's components are added to the Green House respectively. Circuit box (1) has two main greenhouse sensor components which are smart temperature control sensor and soil sensor. These two sensors more likely to require Arduino UNO (SMD).To get more precise value or level, we might be extensively using Arduino Uno (SMD) which has the analog output. Likewise, the other circuit box has similar connection as circuit box (1).

Positioning of Circuit Box (2)

The circuit box (2) also contains particular components like circuit box (1). The second box is slightly distinguished from circuit box (1) because smart light control sensor does not require Arduino Uno (SMD) for connection. We don’t have to use Arduino Uno with light sensor because smart light sensor is only used at night time. Like similar to the circuit box (1), ultrasonic sensor requires Arduino Uno (SMD).

Conclusion

Provides LED light for lighting at night by using smart lighting system. Maintains the right temperature and moisture for healthy growth by using smart temperature control system. Refilling main water tank for plant can be done automatically by using smart water refilling system. Increases crop yield and improves quality of fruits and vegetables by using smart irrigation system. A greenhouse that contains above four smart systems can make farming possible and productive. Through this project, our smart greenhouse can contribute to eco-friendly and efficient farming practices for a greener future.

Future plan:

- Replacing Arduino Uno(SMD) by using PLC program. 
- Adding automatic UV Light for plants on cloudy day or in winter season.
- Adding fan and heater to control greenhouse temperature and ventilation. 
- Showing all sensors data at your monitor or at mobile phone app.
